The Price of Redemption July 21, 2008

Jesus Christ spread his arms on the cross to redeem the human race from the bondage of sin.

Catholics go through the Sacrament of Baptism to wash away the traces of original sin.

Life is indeed full of contradictions.

They say that Christ is the son of God, but he had to sacrifice his life for the redemption of ill mannered humans.

Old folks say that babies are innocent, but they are given the sacrament to wash away the sin that has been passed on to them by Adam and Eve.

The past couple of weeks have been the most stressful time of my life. It seems that the intrigue and malice i encounter in the workplace has become a very essential part of my life.

I have given up on wonderful employment opportunities in the past just because people were more convincing and can easily persuade others than i could ever do in a lifetime.

Bless the soul of those that have talked ill behind my back just to wash their hands clean when i have been used as an instrument to expose their dirty linen.

I take pride in silence and being a keen observer.  I don’t loiter around the workplace that much, but i know every single detail that happens to the people around me, specially when it comes to matters that have something to do with work.

It is easy to keep mum and naive when everyone else is just playing the dirty game under my nose, but it is not at all easy for me not to blow the whistle when the time and the situation calls for it… and that is when i get crucified for telling the truth.

Question is, why is it so easy for liars and ill mannered people to twist the truth and appear to be the innocent victim of a mongering whistle blower.

But for all it is worth, this is the best i can do to protect the truth and the integrity of my job. I will not be going to heaven because of this, but one thing is for sure… they won’t either!

Hello bebenibadoodles! thanks for visitng my blog. ;)

i can say that i am also victimized by such acts when i was working in Pinas. backstabbing and gossips really are like trend in companies and its hard for a newbie to keep up with people who feel like they own the company. good thing i survived working there for 2 yrs. it was like hell on earth. i flew away from hell to save myself from going in with them hehe…

link po kita ha? :)

Hey there Aling Baby… it feels as if part of the Philippine Work Environment is to back stab and eat others away.

Sorry sila, matigas na ulo ko, sutil pa. I refuse to sway with the tide kung alam ko naman that i am on the right path.

As they say… this too shall pass.

Napadaan lng ako pero parang nararamdaman ko kung ano ang issue.Ganun ba ang problema mo? I highly recommend you to read my lesson: MISEDUCATION #3. I know makakarelate kang talaga. Coz i KNOW the feeling.hehehe See if u can get some tips from it too.

Trivia: Do u know that in Jesus Christ’s time, people are actually being baptized as an adult? He himself set the example though he is not a sinner just to exemplify the need of a person to be washed out of all their sins. Little children don’t even know what’s right or wrong so they are innocent in the sight of God until the age of accountability where they can know what’s right from wrong. Jesus Christ paid the sins of from Adam & Eve so all of those who are born after his Atonement( Pagbabayad Sala) are only accountable for their own sins and not for Adam & eve’s transgression. Coz if little children will bear the sins of their forefather, therefore making them sinners, and they died as an infant,( remember, no unclean thing can enter the kingdom) Do u think God is a just God if he will sent those innocent child to hell?
People who believe that all of us bears the “original sin” therefore deny the power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ who paid the sins of the world.

Make sense right?

Just thinking aloud.

Hi Zapped…. amen to that!

“…why is it so easy for liars and ill mannered people to twist the truth and appear to be the innocent victim of a mongering whistle blower…”

Malay mo dahil dito makahanap pa ako ng mas maayos ng trabaho in the future. This is all just a part of growing up. I become better by the pains and struggles i encounter.
